All Silkrute orders are shipped after a verified packaging inspection; however, manufacturing defects and handling issues may occur in rare circumstances. In such cases, we resolve the issue as early as possible.
In general, you are allowed to return your Order in two circumstances:
If you get a damaged product from our end.
If you receive a product other than the one you ordered (Wrong Product).
In both situations above, you can return and claim a refund by following the simple rules outlined in the Return and Refund Policy.
Also, you can request a return or refund within 7 days of delivery.
How do I make a Return?
Buyers can request a return/refund for their purchase by clicking the RETURN button within the eligible 7-day window. The Return window opens once you receive the product. You can also connect with us on WhatsApp during the same eligible window.

Select the items you want to return, then provide the reason for your return. Since you have opted for a return, you will be asked to provide additional information, such as a photo or video of the product.
It is essential to create an "Unpackaging Video" when opening the product you received. Our support team can request such information to verify the issues addressed.
Once you provide the above information, our Support team will respond to you within 48 hours of receiving the request.
At Silkrute, customers can return products provided the return request is submitted within 7 days of receiving the Order.
Post this time frame, buyers are not allowed to place a return request even if the product received is damaged.
Return shipping charges will be refunded once the team analyzes the evidence and determines there is fault on our side. The customer must understand the situation and remain aligned with the policies.
The refund amount will be credited to the original source of payment used for the transaction. Please note that it may take 4–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
In exceptional cases, we may issue a refund without requiring the item to be returned. Such decisions remain solely at our discretion.
Additionally, it is recommended that you do not accept the product if you notice any external damage to the packaging. Once you refuse the product, it will be automatically returned to our warehouse.
Is It Possible to Return a Product that isn't Damaged or Wrong?
In general, return requests are not accepted if the product delivered is neither damaged nor incorrect. We always encourage customers to review product details and descriptions carefully before checkout, as purchases are made at the buyer's own discretion.
Is the Return Shipping Free?
Yes, the return shipping is absolutely free. However, you must return the package via your own courier service to the specified address. Silkrute will reimburse your courier expenses once the product has reached our warehouse safely and the quality check has been completed.
How Long do I have to Return my Order?
You can return your Order within 7 days of delivery. Please note that damaged or incorrect products also cannot be returned once the return window has closed.
Are there any Non-Returnable Items on Silkrute?
Per the return policy, some products purchased on Silkrute are non-returnable. The products that you can't return include:
Open grocery, cosmetics, or food items.
Specific discounted items
Health and personal care products
Broken or Torn products
Clothing that is worn, damaged, or has broken tags.
You are encouraged to review the product listing page before buying to confirm whether the product is returnable. However, if the item received is damaged or different from what was ordered, contact our support team.
