An ideal packaging process involves cushioning, filling voids, leak-proofing, and placing the item in the box. Perfect cushioning protects the item from getting damaged.
Liquid items must be made leak-proof before packing or cushioning. You can tape the bottle caps with multiple rounds of tape to ensure leak-proofing.

When packing any order, it is important to affix the correct label to the package. A label is a unique identification card of the product. It provides essential information to ensure its tracking, proper handling, and timely delivery to its customers.

The above parameters are the vital information that shows where to ship that order. Where to return if the order gets lost?, etc.

Package Weight is an essential factor when exporting your products to the international market. The courier services measure the weight of the package in two ways:
"(Length in cm x Width in cm x Height in cm) / 5,000 = Volumetric Weight in kg
Courier companies compare the "Volumetric Weight" to the "Actual Package Weight". The higher of the two becomes the chargeable weight for pricing.
Example: A large box of Kurkure might weigh 2 kg (actual package weight) but have a volumetric weight of 5 kg, so you'd pay for 5 kg (Volumetric weight).
Now, let's suppose a small package of bolts might weigh 6kg but have a volumetric weight of 3kg, so you'd pay for 6kg (the actual package weight).
The overall courier charges vary with the package weight. Hence, it is recommended to pack the parcel efficiently to keep the total weight as low as possible while maintaining safety.
