It's not good for daily purpose of cutting or chopping small vegies, however it can be best used for cutting big size fruit like watermelon, papaya, muskmelon and so on. It is so sharp that every time I use this to simply cut (not chop) the vegie and I have a new cut on my finger. So "only good when used on chopping board" with big size vegie/fruit.
