These products are typically not long lasting as such , but for a reasonable product life never ever allow the shell to get wet. Please detach the grater after every use and wash it separately. Attach it whenever required and then detach it to clean . Never wet the main shell !

Suction is good, stays put on ground when locked. You need to put some effort to get scrap done. And bad part is handle to rotate black object on right is not fixing. So we had to hold empty steel handle while scraping which annoyed me to bits. Otherwise its good for its price.

Advantages
Coconut scraps tend to fall out on to sides if you keep a normal dinner plate for its collection. Need to put a plastic paper or other alternatives to prevent excessive wastage. Reason for this issue is because of the base is projected compared to the top portion. Scrapping will be difficult at the begining as the blade wont get a hold on coconut pulp, after a few rotations things will come in handy.
