Just received it. Yet to use it. But my first impression was that the surface is very rough. I’ll need to sand it before using it on dough. Or it’ll leave grooves and I won’t get a flat surface. Disappointed.

The belan is ok but it had some kind of plasticky coating and it took me few times of scrubbing to get rid of it partially. I am not sure what coating is it but I would have preferred one without it.
