Approx 4 inches, a little larger than what I expected, but small enough to fit in the salt and pickle jars. The wood quality seems good. As per description, they are hand crafted from the sisam ( sheesham or shisham) wood.The finish is good and smooth. There’s no sharp or splintered edges. The scoop of the spoon is shallow but wide. It can easily hold quantity of 1 tsp.You can feel the grain of the wood, which is reassuring that there isn’t any thick coating on the wood. Personally I don’t prefer glossy coating on my wooden and earthen ware, as these coating, if not food grade can be harmful if ingested. By the look of it, I don’t think they have used any stains to color the wood. It looks and feels natural.I got them at 200? for 5 spoons, that’s 40? per spoon, which is not expensive for a “hand crafted” product. Moreover, Shisham woods are known to be very durable and long lasting..Verdict: a pretty utilitarian addition to the kitchen and a better replacement to plastic spoons!
