For nominal/consistent use say 3 times water heating[3 times is as in before 3 meals] It does wear very rapidly beyond 1 year. I.e. soon after the 1 year warranty period.I purchased this in 2021 OctThe body was always heating up, but more and more now it gets very very hot.The handle also though plastic coated gets very hotIf its a short term purchase this is a budget purchase if you get it under 700.
