Great product by BOROSIL! You need this if you have 3-4 family members or for the guest ! This name is enough ! Quality product available and made in India ! The best is you can heat up your coffee on the gas flame !It serves great need of a family if they enjoy black tea or coffee ! You see the color of your drink and it is available in many sizes according to our needs ! Comparing to other imported brands , this price is very reasonable! Only thing is handle with care and read the instructions! If many people use this family there is possibility due to soap wash it will slip from hand and break !

Economical product, Good quality glass but horrible (plastic) lid design. The lid falls right off even if slightly inclined, the filter in the lid is also useless since there is a gap at the bottom where the lid touches the glass.

The product is meant for using over gas stove and is stated as flame proof. However after a few times usage over flame the handle and the black ring have burnt. Except for this i am loving the product.

The kettle is light, sturdy and easy to use but the plastic lid is very weak and I doubt it will last long, so I've given it a 3 star. I am using it for preparing tea over flame

Good sized Carafe. Serves well over 6 8 cups of tea. Can safely use directly over flame. No issues so far. Easy to clean. Handle feels little loose and shaky to lift but overall good product

I have used it on the flame. The flask works just fine on the flame but the plastic handle melts due to high heat within 10 days. A product from Borosil not excepted. They should supply new handle, of course, it should be better one.

I use this only to store milk in the fridge once I have boiled milk in a steel vessel and transfer it to this carafe when it cooled down . This keeps the milk fresh and makes it easy to remove from the fridge . I do not think using this for boiling directly is a good idea as glass doesn't seem tough hence its broken for many people when heated . its perfect to be kept in the fridge for milk storage as its small in height and can fit in any fridge .
