The straine for the tea leaves and the lid are cheap plastic. Bad moulding. Couldn't possibly last. Also I expected thicker glass. Looks and feels flimsy.

This is a good tea-pot if one has a family / surrounding with extensive tea drinkers. Reasons being:1. Easy to prepare the tea. (IE: has a handle and no need for complex pouring into cups).2. Can be placed on a hub / stove burner.3. Easy to clean. No tea stains.4. Looks trendy and modern.5. Has a strainer in built.One has to get used to the strainer. If not installed correctly, while pouring out the tea, the leaves will diffuse into the liquid. The plastic parts are of slightly inferior quality. But not a deal breaker, to be honest.
