It's very sturdy and easy to clean and is quite big can make soups ie tea coffee anything in this easily. The only thing it's too heavy, if you throw it on a thief he will definitely die ??????. A major drawback is the bakelite grip, which was loose in fitting. This has been the case over the years means almost 20 years, since I started using the same brand and product. Suggest they have a fixed stainless steel grip embedded for future reference.Item is versatile and tough.Another suggestion, such bakelite grips may please be made available through Silkrute. It is a waste of the cookware when this breaks.

Pan is good in terms of height, material, quality and durability. The handle is also sturdy. Only problem is with the pouring edge, the shape is not designed appropriately to support the smooth pour without any spill. That's why I can't use it for making tea or any other preparations except plain water use.

Oay.. its review time.. Using this sauce pan for more than 6 months.. look is vry nice.. strong.. However, few adjustable demerits are there.. You may not be able to control boiling tea in high flame and most of the time end up boilled out.. In steel, once you lower the flame, tea or milk immediately settle down but do not except the same with hard anodised material. Cleaning is bit stressfull as most of the time tea or milk stains stays in surface or side. The handle screw attracts tea and milk stains if not cleaned properly.
