Vinod Platinum triply stainless steel series is made up with SAS technology which is a triple layer construction of stainless steel aluminium and stainless steel . The inner layer is made up of food grade 18/8 stainless steel which is hygienic stainless steel and rust free. The middle layer is consists of aluminium throughout this ensures in even heat distribution and uniform cooking of food. The third layer is made of 430 stainless steel for induction compatibility. The kadai can be used for sautéing deep frying and for preparing curries and gravies. This triply stainless steel kadai is ideal for 6-7 people

I had used Vinod tri ply products previously...and I am in love with them... Food doesn't get burnt because of the thick base, and gets cooked fast as well.. And they use foodgrade steel also...which is a healthy option.. And cleaning becomes easy ...no need to scrub to remove the oil patches... The only thing to keep in mind is to use low heat while cooking..high flame may cause discoloration of steel...but no effect in tha material

Good product For 5 to 8 people easily. For a family of 3 or 4 , less quantity of food, may choose 3.3 l also. It is deep, the lower deep end can also be used to fry with low oil because it has a depth and narrower at base. It is good quality thick triply steel. Handles also sturdy. Flat to keep on table, no topple. Lid very nice quality The lid is a little more than 26 cm as it has a little extra edges to fit well. Food do not stick often if it is conditioned with oil before cooking, regular watch and tossing of food required.

In my journey to move from Aluminium and Non-Stick items to better alternatives ... I researched a lot and narrowed down on Vinod based on the variety of options they have. The steel lid vs glass lid was the deal breaker. While I expected a triply base .. was pleasantly surprised to see that the entire Kadai is tri-ply. The build quality, thickness, and rivets make it look very premium. While I know it costs almost 3 times the normal SS Kadai available in the market ... this item is totally a class apart. I have not used it for cooking yet and the above comments are only about appearance/build. Will post that review shortly.
