Advantages
It is a pre-seasoned kadai, so I started using it immediately. For the first time in my life, I had to throw away cooked food because it smelt and tasted ironish. I thought it is because its a new kadai and things might improve with time. After every use, I washed and oiled the kadai. However, the same thing happened 2 more times and I thought that I will re season it. I followed some online tutorials (soaked it in rice water for a day, cleaned with salt, boiled in tamarind water, and finally by frying onion). However, the food always turned black, although it did not effect the food taste that much. Moreover, whenever I wash the kadai the foam turns brownish. After using the kadai for almost 30 times, the decoloration of food problem seems solved. Pros: Sturdy and stylish Con: 1) decoloration of food. Takes a long time to solve this issue. 2) heating and oiling the kadai is a must after every single use. Otherwise it gets rusted. The rusting proves that the material is cast iron. However, a well seasoned kadai does not rust this frequently. Conclusion: You can get similar cast iron kadai with at cheaper price from any cast iron shops in Madurai (I found this info recently and I ordered a few tawas). This is an expensive and high maintenance kadai.

Advantages
I have been using this Kadai from quite some time. It is very heavy as expected and thick bottom. The finishing of the kadai is good. But the seasoning was very weak. It weared off after first use itself and the food started sticking even after seasoning. So I have to pre season it again for couple of time and have to keep doing it again for some more time to strengthen the seasoning. The cover is good and it fits perfectly.

Advantages
The product is nice & heat distribution is good. Only thing is that it need care & maintenance. Frequent oiling to prevent rusting and keeping it dry after wash. If you are committed to take care of product, definitely go for it. Also with frequent seasoning process of the product, food doesn't stick.

Giving it four Stars as the piece I received had a little bit of rust on the outer side. Overall the Kadai is very good. I am using it on the induction and it is working very well. No sticking, No burnt food. If you clean it properly, as provided in the user guide, it can give you the best results. Note: After a week of uses I can see a little bit of metal (Outermost black layer has some kind of carbon coating, it's not a 'non-stick' coating according to the company) appearing on the edges of the Kadai (Has attached an Image). It's not an issue though. User guide clearly says that this is expected and if you season it regularly, this won't be a problem.

In love with this kadhai. Definitely the best option in the market right now. Usage Tips: Make sure to completely dry kadhai immediately after washing it to keep it rust free. I put my kadhai on the stove for 30 secs post-washing to ensure there is no water traces. Pro Usage Tip: To make kadhai non-stick," High heat the kadhai (dry) + Add cold oil = Non-Stick Kadhai

Disadvantages
Good kadai. Only big drawback is it's not rust proof as claimed. After washing it rusts as soon as it drys up. Stubborn rust!
