I bought this kadai and within few months the black part started to come out. I contacted them and they said it was defective batch and would replace it. After replacement, after few months again the same thing happened and then again they told me the same thing and commited to replace it but after that stopped responding to my email and messages. It has been more than a month. I don't know what to do now.

Advantages
The purpose of buying a stainless steel wok was to eliminate the need to clean it by hand. This wok has gone through many cycles of use and wash and it hasn't shown any signs of deterioration.

This wok / kadhai has been washed in a dishwasher. No handwashing.

Disadvantages
For such a premium rate, one would assume that the lid handle as well as kadhai handles would be heat proof. What is the logic of having metal handles that get hot? Even basic cheap products have heat proof handles. Why would such a super expensive product not have that feature? It is a very basic feature to expect.

I have been using it for the past 7 months now, but the black honeycomb design is peeling off now. The cleaning is done with normal scrub pad only, was not expecting this issues with stahl.
