100% genuine product. Works extremely well for indian cooking. Unlike the other reviews the lid fits perfectly well. Due to the lid the cooking time has gone down by half and also the oil used, as the food is being cooked with the steam generated inside with the lid on. Note down the below points to get efficient cooking experience with this product 1)Even though manufacturer claims that it is steel spoon friendly, never use steel spoon/ladle on this product, i bought nylon spoon/ladle set separately. 2)never keep hot used pan on cold surface nor immerse it in cold water. Best way to clean is to let the kadai cool down and wipe the kadai with a kitchen paper towel and use a non-abrasive, sponge scrubber with washing gel only. Don't use dishwashing soaps as they are highly abrasive in nature. 3)Use the pan only on a small burner in the LPG stove. Never keep it on the big burner. 4)Dont try to close the hole on the glass lid. I cooked ladies finger fry and Arbi curry and also made mac n cheese. all the three dishes are extremely gummy/sticky in nature but the kadai worked like a champion. Happy Cooking:-)

Me and my wife were shocked and scared to see the way the glass had broken after 14 months. Bought in pandemic. I don't have complaint on the breakage. But how it is broken into million shards which are so minute can hurt you and kids around.Story: bought in pandemic, good pan however today I had kept the lid like this in the morning. In evening I saw this. Don't know how it broke maybe the holder weight for a substantial amount of time put stress on the glass. My question is there is something called tempered glass. Like we see in cars windshield and smartphone screen. If it breaks should not cause chaos. Kindly help me with this. And stop manufacturing the lid for the sake of humanity.
