This will NOT work on Induction top (at least not with those which sense and detect the Utensil and only turns on after that)- Never worked on Prestige Induction top, the base was too thin to be detected. (see video)- Even a small-sized bowl works perfectly on the same Induction top, but not this Kadahi.I requested the replacement doubting that the first item that is received is defective, but the replacement also didn't work on Induction.Other BIG design Problems that I observed:Bad Handle design, will Burn the fingers (see Pics)- When you hold the handle, fingers always touch the screws below the handle.- Large metal area is open, where fingers can touch.- Screws and the open metal surface will also heat up and Burn the fingers.The lid doesn't fit properly:- Lid is not fitting properly and is too loose (gap of nearly half cm on one side).- Doubt it will result in the steam coming out from all sides of the lid.
