Advantages
Steel instead of plastic or aluminium so healthy. Idlis are super soft (depends on batter but much softer than our previous plastic idli maker). Idli size around 2.5 inch though I havent measured exactly. It takes around 30 mins on medium low flame for 1st batch of 24 idlis. Idli cavities have tiny holes for the steam. The only bad thing is tiny platic holder on top of the idli stand verticle rod. It is almost useless and we have to pick hot idli stamp using separate clamp. Overall very nice except small thing mentioned above.
