Its delicate but does the job, for the sake of brand could have used thicker gauge steel but, it's understandable can't expect much in this price. We get 24 idlis at a time and enough for a family of three or four. No issues with the lid, plates and whistle all are working fine. However, it's a good deal for the price we paid.

Lightweight and easy to use. Depending on the batter - 15mins in low flame or till the whistle is constant. Distance between the plates is less so make sure you don’t fill too much batter. Makes medium sized idlis.THE HOLES ARE NOT POLISHED FULLY SO DO END UP CUTTING YOUR HANDS / FINGERS SO BE CAREFUL!

The product quality is good and it is easy to use. The parts arrive disassembled and have to be fixed ourselves. The only issue is that the package does not have any rubber washers so the screws keep getting loose.The size of the idly mould is a bit small but the product as such is very useful.

The product is good, it came with a tiny dent on the cover but apart from that it's good. It works wonderfully and the six plates help make many idlis at a time. The material feels a little flimsy to me so a word of advice would be to keep it away from the maid :p

The product is really good and easy to use. The price is also good. Not very expensive.The only thing I didn't like is the base of the idli cooker is getting stained and became brown after using it... And the stain is going even after scrubbing.

Though the product is good but i got 5 plates normal but the 6th one cant be inserted in the stand as the centre hole is too small and also has the base support missing. Didn feel like taking the pain of returning n reordering as cant be sure that i ll get perfect product in nxt order or even worse. So keeping it thinking that it only has 5 plates. So will get 4 idli less..!!

Ordered this product with doubt, but I feel it is a fairly decent product within the Rs800 price range for the families who use once or twice in a week.Used only twice, so far it is good,'ll update my review after 3/4 months usage if there are any issues.

Recieved yesterday & happy with it.It's a gud quality stainless steel... Plates are very study and weight is around 1.7kg. Saw some reviews that stainer is missing but actually will check with local shop also... Stainer is not there with this model....overall it's good for small family size of a idli is medium. Bought it for 789 Rs and found this cheaper then other brands.thanks AMAZON

BUT LITTLE THINNER THAN WE EXPECTED FROM THE BRAND OF PIGEON! AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COOKER, A FLAME MARK OR SOMETHING FOUND IN AFTER FIRST USE! PROOF WITH PICTURE INSERTED! EACH EVERY USAGE,WHISTLE START WORKING WHILE THE IDLYS START BOILING FROM BEGINNING! PLEASE DO ANYTHING TO CONTROL IT! OUR OLD STEAM IDLY COOKER (WITHOUT WHISTL MODEL) TOOK 20 MINUTES TO 16 IDLYS TO BOILING! BUT THIS TOOK ONLY 10 MINUTES FOR 24 IDLYS TO BOILING! OVER-ALL GOOD!
