The description/discussion in Q & A around storage capacity is quite rudimentary. Cup is no unit of measurement and am sure is only adding to the confusion. I donot see the harm in saying that the smaller unit will hold around 100 gms and the bigger unit will hold around 200 gms depending on the spice type that is being stored.
