It's been a week since I have received the order. This is the cheapest of Yonex rackets but the play does not feel so. I have played with carbonex racquet , they are lighter ,can be strung with required tension. For a person who's just started playing badminton start with this one and then gradually climb up the order. You will hear that the other racquets have better smash, drop abilities. Those come later and also the costlier ones break your heart if court tussles happen or if you accidently drop them. To develop the game play and placements this would suffice. A word about packaging, maybe it's changed but the racquet is layered around those air filled pouches. Little chance of stress or it turning into bow shapes now. I feared that would happen reading the other reviews.

Nice product. The cost matches its durability. Dont expect it to withstand all power shots. Best for beginners. Doing heavy smashes it tends to bend near T joint and also in the ovel frame. But very satisfactory for normal play.
