Not what you'd expect from a serum. I've used serums from Matrix and L'Oreal Paris before, and immediately after applying I could discern the difference. Those serums made my hair very soft and manageable. Mountain Ebony Serum on the other hand, is to be applied on a dry scalp, yes that's right. Dry hair. So I wasn't sure if I liked it in the first place. But after using it on my dry scalp, I found it to be better than my first impression. It has a relaxing, cooling sensation and after a long day, it'd be very enjoying I suppose. The description says to use it daily, but when I used it for 2 days in a row, it turned my hair very greasy. On the plus side, it got rid of my dandruff, so yay for that. I'm still not sure if I like it, but I keep using it in moderation, so my hair hasn't, like grown all silky all of a sudden and at the same time it doesn't feel oily and dry at the same time. So I think I would recommend but you should be careful, if you have oily hair. Also it smells nice. I think I'll keep using it for another month.

I am using this for the past one week, regularly once in a day on my scalp, I am finding it better, the hair drop has reduced considerably. But frizz control feature is not incorporated, you got use some thing like Livon etc.,Also the bottle reads apply on the scalp in circular motions. This adds up the frizz, which is not relieved by this product. It has a water like texture and with a blackish brown color. It has a mild aroma, which is pleasant and does not make other people turn heads when you enter a room. It just stays for few minutes after application, then gone. No change in the hair texture too after application. Planning to check with Biotique on the Livon kind of hair detangler. I am using my regular shampoos only. So you got to wait for a week or two to see the results. Go for it, if you have heavy hair fall, it will slowdown the same. Another advantage is, it is completely natural and need not worry about chemicals. I feel a pump kind of pack would be more suitable or a spray kind of bottle is more suitable than a pouring kind as biotique has packed. But usually biotique, packaging is always like this only, hence I transferred it to another emptied pump bottle so easy to use everyday.

Well I have given 3 stars based on my short usage experience but since it takes time for products like these to show proper results I will update this review after 2 months or so..Easy to use as it's water based so it won't leave your hair looking oily.. also this is suppose to be applied on the scalp not hair.. that's why I wish they had an applicator of sort.. that would have helped for sure..Smells really good and herbaly :)Update after few months of usage:I do see some improvement with my hairfall situation for sure and i also feel it has helped with some regrowth but nothing drastic or crazy fast.. process is slow and you have to have patience for sure.. also I think it has helped with more hairfall than hairgrowth so ultimately you feel improvement over all.. by that what I mean is if you have a bald spot and you plan on using this to grow hair again .. I am not sure this is the right product .. this is more prevention then cure..Hope this helps you guys..

This serum has definitely helped with my hair fall problems but I wont recommend Biotique because of the following reasons.- Serum uses scent which must be a chemical. Its not mentioned.- Biotique shampoos are all lotion based and they have a detergent like consistency. Again, its not mentioned what exactly goes into this lotion base.Biotique identifies itself as a therapeutic product as compared to a cosmetic product. It assures us that it is 100% herbal and yet, there are these hidden elements that isnt specified at all.Also, once you stop the serum (I tried once I found these problems) hair fall becomes even worse. Matlab, you buy Biotique once, you are going to buy it for a lifetime.The shampoo also makes my hair really dry (a miracle since I have super greasy hair) which leads to breakage. All in all, only half satisfied with the product.I really hope the product is more transparent about the materials they use, in the near future.

I have been using this product for a really long time now... it's my 5th bottle in a year and a half.it is a boon for dry scalp days...especially winters...though it is equally good for summers too to keep your head cool. Other serums have to be applied to towel-dried hair...and also just to the length of your hair and not the scalp...so this one has to be applied to the scalp so it works like magic to a dry scalp.I have sensitive skin and so my dermat asked me not to use oil on my head as I had a bad break out all over my face 2 years ago. But we all know our hair need nourishment and the DIY's take up so much time and energy (also im lazy to do the DIY's)...so this hair serum helped me a lot with my scalp issues. I apply it usually before going to bed and just massage it well into my hair....and wash it the next morning. I have also seen some hair growth and improvement in my hairline though not major or intense as written in the heading.it works wonders and not only gives instant nouishmnet to you hair but your scalp too. since its got a cooling kinda texture so it feels amazing during summers....and the fragrance is just awesome. love how my hair look and smell post its application.so, go for it without doubts...Biotique products are not just out of this world and genuinely therapeutic in nature. It helps in curing hair fall more than growth...maybe with time, it will show more evident results of hair growth too. This is a must-have in my personal regime kit! Thank you Biotique for your miracle products for people facing skin and hair problems like me!

So it is like Homeopathic medicine.. like Paracetamol tablet mixed in full talk of water and we are trying to cure fever by drinking everyday few glasses in on day not possible to cure no side effect but took a long time to show any progress have faith i would sayFor me, nothing changes that muchstill, I am consuming two bottles every month since 2019 Oct Nov I guess.the only good thing is Hair and scalp won't be dry its flow like water only ( all though it has herbal only )i usually after applying directly to scalp massage for 1,2 min u can feel the difference.Recommend not recommended? not not sure if you have patience as said in the above example then good to try but no side-effect

I must say product is good, nice smell, this is my 2nd purchase in a month, and it is really good for hairs..i suggest those who have thin and brittle hairs , is that kindly transfer the liquid in a spray bottle ,( i have it old gulab jal spray bottle from sri sri, & i transferred it to that after washing and cleaning the bottle).the spray will directly target the scalp, Thank ME LATER for this hack.....non oily, non greasy, smooth ...for best result use this spray at night , and in morning before you take shower, at least 1 hour before, take fresh onion water and also put in spray bottle and spray to scalp, do not rub, let the onion do the magic, and let it be on scalp for 1 hr , after that wash hair as usual , it is also non oily so no need to apply shampoo...Mountain ebony is for intensively target your hair to grow fast, only the hair already in scalp, and also removes scalp issues, meanwhile onion will focus on more sulfur nutrient to hair and also helps to regenerate new hair....

The Biotique products are really something I appreciate too much.They're said to be Ayurvedic and certainly has the intent of promising what they say.This hair serum is not like a lot of regular serum if you're looking for its buy.1. The serum has a very very water-y consistency.2. This literally perforate in the hair and is very light.3. You won't feel, that you have applied something. It will just blend. At least for me it has never let the hair go oily after it's application.4. Have I seen reduced hair fall? I am not sure if I have as I have used it on and off. But I am sure consistency is the key to rather comment on this part as yet.5. While I was reading a lot ofreviews, it's smell was something that alot of consumers didn't like, but that's completely opposite for me.6. I feel it smells good, I like the smell of this product which is slightly too strong.7. Overall, it's a great buy. Have utilized one bottle and I am onto the next right now.8. Wonderful part is, Amazon's delivery came with great care and the package is sealed as it should be.9. I'd at least rate this an 8 of 10 for sure.10. It's a bit higher sided on price because, I as a consumer am heavy one time user of a product, given that I think price is a factor I rethink about while doing a repeat purchase. Nevertheless I already am doing a repeat purchase as the product does what it says.I hope this was helpful.

This was the best random Product purchase I ever done..I am so happy with this product it literally works for me it made my real hair , I won’t say a lot longer but it did made the texture a different and I can feel the smoothness in my hairs. you have to apply this only on the scalp before washing or after washing as you wish and its work so good it makes your hair so soft . you don’t have to apply it to the tip just applied on the scalp and its all done I used it for three times a week, After washing my hair so I am happy with this product
