I know its butter and supposed to be heavy. However, I felt its heaviness, not on hair, but on my face and hands. My face was completely oily by the end of wash day. It was looking as if I just did oil cleansing and forgot to wash it. My hands were feeling too oily, although I washed them several times. My hairs had enough moisture for full week and did not feel any dryness. But my face suffers oiliness throughout the week.

After using almost all curl products, am back to fix my curls. This is the only best and affordable cream as well as gel which serves the purpose, keeps hair intact and less frizzy, withought weighing down the hair. For 4-5 days fix my curls can keep my curls fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Certainly does that job of holding curls. Didn't dry my hair, using it since a month. I follow shampoo, condition, cream and gel scrunch routine. Curls refresh good with this gel in hair. Attached pics are after a night sleep and the curls stayed fine with this gel. A good quantity (1 tsp) application is required to hold hair for next 2-3 days.

Definitely get this small pack of butter and gel for your hair before you get the bigger one esp if you are beginner to this method. It Def locks moisture but it can make your hair stringy if you don't know the right amount of gel. Also as you use the hair also gets accustomed to it. The first use does not have the best effect on the hair.

I have 2b wavy hair and the product was okay. I used this on top of a curling cream.I felt that the product weighed down my waves rather than enhancing them.I used a decent amount of product and it didn’t form any sort of cast.I personally liked it because it did make my waves cluster which actually made them more visible and defined and it got rid of most of the frizz. My hair is super soft to touch. But if you are looking for something with a strong hold and to make your hair as curly as it can be this may not be the right product.The smell is a little chemically but it’s not the worst.

It is a good product imo I liked it ,compared to ashba it leaves a slight residue but I don’t think that’s a dealbreaker for daily use .Overall I found it helped define the curls -just use it at the end to seal and scrunch .Gels can cause thin hair to look stringy so use very less.
