I’m giving this a low rating simply because I grew up using real sandalwood passed down from my grandmother so I can tell if the scent is fake. This one has a bit of a sweet smell mixed. I used it for my CP soaps and it didn’t last. Don’t recommend it. Then again, it’s hard to find the actual scent. Can’t expect the real deal to be sold for a low price.

Just to set the expectations right, this sandalwood oil does not smell very intensely when you open it first but slowly as it interacts with the air the oil comes into its character and the aroma persists for a long time, it's mild but very pleasing to the senses.

This is authentic oil - perfect aroma and very oily. I have to apply after dilution with coconut oil. Just 3-4 drops suffice for a single application. Overnight use keeps the head cool and improved sleep. Go for it.
