I was so mesmerized by the flavour of Butternut's almond butter that I decided to try this one as replacement of nutella. But was disappointed. It tastes exactly like the almond butter, nothing like nutella, very dense and thick which makes it a very dry spread for bread. Every gulp needs water. You can taste hazelnut everywhere, I can assure you that. But you can't taste coco, nut to coco ratio is disbalanced. If you can forget the taste of nutella, then maybe you can enjoy it. But for me it was just like their nut spread.

I was very impressed with the low amount of sugar (coconut sugar is still sugar, after all, but I prefer this to artificial sweeteners that other brands carry). The consistency is much runnier than your traditional Nutella, but the taste was still sweet and satisfying if you're looking for an alternative to a sugar fix! The packaging was very nice, but I was still surprised by how small this jar was compared to my other brands. Still--I appreciate the quality over quantity.
