Barely suppose to be soaked before cooking. We soaked it for one hour and became like paste even before cooking. I doubt it is barely now. How can we cook for patients at home? Is Amazon checking its quality for selling online. Unfortunately bought two kilos since it says organic…. ??

Jiwa Pearl Barley is economical and well presented in next packaging. I have purchased it for it's medicinal value for maintaining Kidney Health particularly as I am diabetic and there is a danger of creatinine being released in the blood. The water in which it is boiled is good for drinking for this purpose and the cooled grain is good to eat in place of rice.

Packaging- it was wrapped in packaging tapes and looked like was opened and taped again .first of all it came nearly after 10 days and in pathetic condition. However the product was good so did not return and want to encourage organic products
