A traditional multi coloured Madhubani painting extensively detailing two ethereal animals sustaining themselves with the sap of the tree of life as perceived by the artist. The strokes of the painting quill are very fine but distinct. These paintings are inspired by folklore. Only hand made paper cured with cow dung is utilized and is a signature livelihood of the painters of Madhubani, Bihar, India.
