The scrub is in new packaging with new ingredients, but originally it's the old evryuth scrub with typical medicine like after smell. I like the scrubbing effect though. My skin had a mild glow. But there are better smelling scrub available in market with similar exfoliating property. With a pleasant smell, this product would have hit it right. Not this time though

Yes it does remove tan needless you need to be careful before going out in the sun. Wouldn't work if you don't apply sunscreen and just want to remove your tan in a swish.
